Does Hypnotherapy Really Work?

Poor hypnosis has gotten a bad rap, and undeservedly so!

When the work hypnosis is even spoken many people have false pretenses that filter through their minds; the media, Hollywood movies, and individual who have maligned hypnotherapy which filters over to cast doubt in people’s minds.

Hypnosis is not capable of completely dominating your mind, neither can it give the hypnotists the complete power, and domination over another person. Many people have this fear after seeing a stage hypnotist perform. The Stage hypnotists will ask for volunteers from their audience, volunteers know on some level that they’re going to be asked while in a hypnotic state to do stuff that they won’t be aware that they do, they may even be embarrassing. However on some level in their minds they are volunteering because they covet the awareness that comes from being exhibitionists. The volunteers know they are going to be controlled by the hypnotist and they are consciously allowing this person to offer suggestions.

My First Hypnosis Experience

When I was younger I participated in a stage hypnotist performance, and out of 15 volunteers there were probably three of us who were not suggestible, or so I thought. It was later that I learned that for hypnosis to work, your mind has to want to take the suggestion to make it possible, and there is where hypnosis for phobias works so well. Hypnotherapy treatments are for the lucky souls like you who are ready heal them, and stop the fear or fears causing havoc on their lives. Hypnotherapy is not something to fear, but is a method of healing and living fully, healthier and happier lives through the use of language and proposal.

Does Hypnosis Work For Phobias?

No one can make you do anything, the bottom line is you have to want to heal yourself, or you will never get benefit from any type of therapy conventional or alterative. Using hypnotherapy to break the phobia cycle and overcome your fears will open the world up again. There is no parlor game, or stage performance that is going to do that for you. Hypnosis has been studied by scientist, researchers, and used in thousands of case studies.
